For the cherry topping:
300 grams cherries
50 grams (3 tablespoons) sugar
20 grams (1 heaping tablespoon) cornstarch
60 milliliters (3 tablespoons) water
For the streusel topping (optional):
60 grams (1/2 stick) butter, softened
60 grams (4 tablespoons) sugar
120 grams (3/4 cup / 4 ounces) flour
