Meringue tops with walnuts and chocolate cream – The best homemade, flour-free dessert
Ingredients needed for the tops:
10 egg whites
240 g powdered sugar
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
400 g walnut pieces, roasted in a dry pan and cooled
Ingredients needed for the cream:
10 egg yolks
160 g powdered sugar
100 ml of milk
200 g of butter
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
Ingredients needed for decoration:
40-50 g of chocolate
Method of preparation:
We start by separating the whites from the yolks. We make sure that not even a drop of yolk gets into the bowl with egg whites. Also, the bowl for egg whites should be perfectly dry and degreased.
