OVEN-BAKED ST. LOUIS-STYLE RIBS

When it comes to barbecues and grilling, ribs are one of the most popular dishes out there. Baby back, St. Louis and spareribs have become a national staple. This St. Louis-style ribs recipe infuses the meat with smoky, sweet and spicy flavors that will keep you and your guests licking your fingers. Adding brown sugar also helps form a sticky crust on the ribs while baking.

Ingredients:

6 pounds bone-in St. Louis-style ribs, membrane removed and trimmed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1½ tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1½ tablespoon dried mustard powder
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
¼ cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons parsley flakes
1½ teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
1 cup preferred barbecue sauce, store-bought or homemade
