The necessary ingredients for this cake are as follows:
200 ml of milk
100 ml of oil
200 grams of sugar
2 eggs
200 grams of flour
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
1 bag of baking powder
The necessary ingredients for the filling are as follows:
1 liter of milk,
250 grams of sugar,
7 tablespoons of grits,
200 grams of coconut
HOW TO PREPARE THIS CAKE?
Preparation of the filling:
Put semolina in 200 ml of milk and let it stand while you boil the remaining milk (800 ml) with sugar.
When the milk boils, add the sour semolina and cook until you get a thick pudding-like mixture.
Remove from the stove and add the coconut, mix well.
Preparation of the base:
Beat eggs with sugar. When they are well beaten, add milk, oil, flour (into which you previously mixed baking powder and cocoa).
Pour half of this mixture into a 30-inch pan and put it in a preheated oven.
When the base is half baked, take it out of the oven, pour the prepared filling over it, and then the remaining half of the base mixture.
Put it back in the oven to cook everything together.
Frosting:
The frosting is not described in detail in the recipe, so you can prepare it according to your choice or a recipe that suits you.
Serving:
You can cut the cake into three parts or leave it in two layers, as you prefer.
