Watermelon cake with strawberries

Watermelon cake with strawberries, cream and jelly. A delicious, light and colorful summer cake.

Spinach cake is an intense green cake made from fresh spinach leaves. In the frozen spinach version, the dough will be much less green and darker.

The cream is as light as fluff and sweet. Perfect for heavier bases and fruit.

The top is strawberry slices, some blueberries and jelly. This is a summer version because the original recipe included only jelly.

The watermelon and strawberry cake looks amazing and tastes delicious. Perfect for summer meetings or celebrations.

WATERMELON CAKE WITH STRAWBERRIES

INGREDIENTS FOR SPINACH CAKE:

2 eggs, large
1/2 cup of sugar
1 3/4 cups of krupczatka flour or cake flour
1/2 cup of oil, e.g. rapeseed
2 spoons of baking powder
approx. 150 g fresh or frozen spinach leaves*
