Very Easy Chocolate Marble Cake

Preparation of the Basic Dough: In a large bowl, start by beating the eggs. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat until the mixture is smooth. Add the oil and a pinch of vanilla to flavor the dough.

Adding the Dry Ingredients: Sift the flour with the baking powder, then gradually add it to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk. Be sure to mix well to avoid lumps and obtain a smooth dough.

Preparation of the Chocolate Dough: Divide the dough into two equal parts in separate bowls. In one of the bowls, add the cocoa and a little extra milk if necessary to maintain a similar consistency between the two doughs. Mix well so that the chocolate dough is uniformly colored.

Assembling the Marble Cake: Butter and lightly flour a cake tin. Pour the two mixtures alternately into the tin to create the marbled effect. Start with a layer of plain dough, follow with a layer of chocolate dough, and continue until all the doughs are used up.

Cooking: Preheat your oven to 180°C. Bake the marble cake and leave to cook for about 40 minutes. The cake is ready when the tip of a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Tip: For a more pronounced marbling, use a fork to lightly swirl the pasta together before baking.

Service: Let the cake cool before unmolding. Serve in slices, accompanied by tea or coffee.
