USE OLD BREAD…Lunch In 5 Minutes. I Have Never Cooked Anything So Easy And Delicious!

PREPARATION:

Heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease the tray.
In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder.

Place half of the bread slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with half of the shredded cheese.

Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread and cheese.

Sprinkle with the remaining slices of bread and cheese.
Pour the remaining egg mixture on top.

Spread butter on top.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted and golden.
Cool a little before serving.

Tip:
You can use any type of bread in this recipe such as baguette, white bread or even croissant.
If you don’t have whole milk, you can use low-fat milk or even cream.

You can also add other ingredients to the egg bake, such as cooked bacon, sausage or ham.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
