TIROPITA

My tiropita are delicious, savory, cheesy phyllo triangles that are also known as Greek cheese pies. They make the perfect appetizer, finger food, or snack!

INGREDIENTS

1 pound feta cheese crumbled
3/4 pound whole milk ricotta
3 large eggs lightly beaten
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
1/2 pound phyllo dough
2 sticks unsalted butter, melted

INSTRUCTIONS

Mash feta (1 pound) with a fork breaking up larger clumps. Blend both kinds of cheese until smooth. Add eggs (3), black pepper (1/4 teaspoon), dill (3 tablespoons), and 1 tablespoon of melted butter.

Preheat oven to 375°F (191°C).
