This is how you bake German cheesecake! Incredibly tender and delicious

Ingredients / Recipe 1

The dough:
80 g butter (soft) 1/3 cup
100 g sugar (1/2 cup)
A pinch of salt
120 g flour (4/5 cup)
100 g ground hazelnuts (1 cup), (preferably toasted for a better taste !)
1 egg yolk
1 small teaspoon of baking powder
Grated orange peel

Decoration:

1 – 2 oranges

Orange jam:
A total of 300 g oranges (3 – 4 oranges)
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons rum (or water)
Grated orange peel
Season with sugar.

The curd cream:
3 eggs
1 pack of vanilla sugar (8 g, 2 teaspoons)
A pinch of salt
40 g sugar (1/5 cup)
50 g melted butter (1/5 cup)

170 g sweetened condensed milk (3/4 cup)
500 g quark (or cream cheese/fine cottage cheese) 2 cups
40 g corn starch (1/3 cup)
1 teaspoon corn starch
Bake the cheesecake at 180 °C top and bottom heat for about 1 hour
. After the baking time, let the cake rest in the oven for another 15 minutes.
