Strudel with cherries and almonds, this recipe is a real bomb!

Spread the cherry filling over the prepared dough, leaving a border of approx. 2.5 cm free. Fold the narrow sides over the filling to prevent it from falling out.

Using a napkin, bend the cake from the wider side and place it on a sheet with the edge down. Brush with the remaining butter and sprinkle with almonds.
Bake the strudel for about 20 minutes so that the dough and almonds get a golden brown color. Sprinkle hot or cold with powdered sugar and serve. If you wish, serve the strudel with light sweet cream or creamy Greek yogurt.
