Strawberry cake with mascarpone cream

Using a spatula, spread the dough evenly onto the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
Take the dough out of the oven and let it cool completely.

Mix the mascarpone, low-fat quark, 100 g sugar, 2 packets of vanilla sugar and lemon juice into a cream and spread it onto the cooled base.
Wash, clean and halve or quarter the strawberries (depending on size). Place them close together on the cream layer and press them in lightly.

Pour the cake icing into a bowl. Pour 500 ml of boiling water on top and stir with a whisk for at least 1/2 minute. Spread the cake icing evenly over the strawberries with a spoon.
Let the cake icing set (approx. 1 hour) and then cut the cake into pieces and serve.
