Simple and Easy to Make Gorgeous Cake

Preheat your oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar and vanilla extract.
Add the oil, yogurt or milk and mix well until smooth.

Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing continuously to avoid lumps forming.
Butter and flour a cake tin, then pour in the mixture.

Bake for about 40 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

While cooking, prepare the mixture of jam and orange blossom water for basting.
Once the cake is out of the oven, let it cool for a few moments then drizzle it with the mixture of jam and orange blossom water.
Sprinkle with shredded coconut for the finishing touch.
Serve with a hot drink and enjoy this wonderful moist cake!
