Quark balls with vanilla pudding, like from the bakery

Ingredients:

Dough
250 g flour
250 g low-fat quark
120 g sugar
1 egg
0.5 packet baking powder
3 tbsp milk
4 tbsp cooking oil
a pinch of salt
Filling
1 packet vanilla pudding powder
500 ml milk
6 tbsp sugar
150 g sugar for turning the quark balls
150 ml oil for deep-frying

Preparation:

1. First prepare the vanilla pudding according to the instructions and let it cool down. Then place cling film directly over the pudding so that no skin forms later.
2. Next, mix all the ingredients for the dough into a smooth dough. The dough should already form a firmer mass so that you can
later form balls or dumplings out of it.
3. Now heat 150 ml oil in a non-stick pan. I recommend that you turn the heat down to medium after the oil has become hot, otherwise the quark balls will darken too quickly.
