Pockets filled with ham and cheese, ready in 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Puff pastry (from the refrigerated section or homemade)
Ham, in thin slices
Cheese (e.g. Gouda, Emmentaler or Cheddar), in thin slices
Optional: Mustard or another sauce to taste
Egg yolk (optional, for the glaze)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to the temperature specified in the puff pastry package.
Prepare the puff pastry: Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares or rectangles, depending on how big you want the pockets.
Filling the pockets: Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each piece of dough. If you like, you can also add a thin layer of mustard or another sauce.
Fold: Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket. Press the edges with a fork to seal.
