Pie braided with apple and walnut

PREPARATION

Mix the yeast with 1 tablespoon of sugar and 250 ml of water. Add the vanilla essence.
Gradually incorporate the flour, margarine and salt powder, kneading until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
Let the dough rise in a warm place.

Mix the grated apple with the brown sugar, raisins and ground walnuts.
Divide the risen dough into 4 equal parts. Roll out each side into a thin rectangular sheet. Place 1/4 of the filling in the middle of each sheet. Cut the edges of the sheet and form the pie.

Repeat the process with the rest of the dough and filling.
Brush each pie with oil and sprinkle with a little brown sugar. Bake at 160°C for 30-40 minutes.
Finally, sprinkle powdered sugar over the baked pies for an aesthetic look and extra sweetness.
