How to prepare millefeuille with mascarpone cream and chocolate chips
Mix the mascarpone with the icing sugar in a bowl, then pour in the whipped cream and continue mixing the ingredients with the electric whisk.
Stir in the chocolate pieces.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut it in half. Prick the dough with a fork to prevent it from swelling during baking, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Bake the puff pastry rectangle in the oven at 180 °C for 20 minutes.
Spread the cream on the first puff pastry rectangle, place the second puff pastry rectangle on top and spread the remaining cream on top.
Finally, place the third rectangle on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cut the dessert into squares and serve.
Advice
You can also fill the millefeuille with diplomat cream or mousseline cream and also decorate the surface with chopped dried fruit or crumbled amaretti biscuits.
