Lent Recipe – Cherry Compote Cake – Simple and quick recipe, soft and delicious

Ingredients needed for the top:

250 g of flour
300 ml cherry compote from canned cherries
100 ml of oil
100-150 g sugar, to taste
15 g of baking powder
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
Ingredients needed for the cream:
350 ml cherry compote (juice)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2-3 spoons of sugar
2 tablespoons semolina


Method of preparation:

We start with the cream: we pour the compote into a saucepan together with the sugar and the semolina.
We mix, put on fire and boil until the composition becomes thick. About 5-6 minutes. Add the lemon juice, mix and let the cream cool down to room temperature.
