Mix the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla extract until creamy
Stir in the cornstarch

Then stir in the 200 ml milk
Quickly add this mixture to the boiled milk and bring to the boil while stirring vigorously
Cover the pudding with cling film and let it cool.
Beat 400 ml of cream until stiff
Beat the cooled pudding again with a hand mixer and fold in the stiffly whipped cream
Beat the remaining 400 ml cream with vanilla sugar and cream until stiff

Now place the baked puff pastry as a base in a 20×30 baking dish
Spread the pudding mixture on top
Spread the stiffly whipped cream on top and place the puff pastry squares on top as lids
Allow to cool thoroughly in the refrigerator
Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into pieces
