Karpaten-Torte – Leckere Kombination aus Vanillecreme, Fruchtfüllung und weichem Teig

INGREDIENTS:

Dough:

2 dl water
125 g butter or margarine
2 dl flour (a glass with 2 dl)
5 eggs
A pinch of salt

Cream:

3 vanilla puddings
1 l milk
2 dl sugar
200 g butter or margarine

400 g forest fruits, 2 tablespoons sugar, vanilla sugar and 1 tablespoon cornstarch Note: Forest fruits are quite sour, you can add more sugar if desired.
250 ml whipped cream

DIRECTIONS:

Bring water, butter and a pinch of salt (or margarine) to the boil. Add 2 dl flour and mix well (I use a mixer). Place in a plastic bowl and add one egg at a time while mixing.
Spread half of the dough on a 24-26 cm baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 20 minutes. Repeat the same process with the other half of the dough. IMPORTANT: Do not open the oven while baking.
