Homemade Pudding: Traditional Delight to Enjoy with the Family

Ingredients: Homemade Pudding

  • 1 liter of whole milk
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 100 grams of cornstarch
  • 4 egg yolks
  • Vanilla essence to taste
  • Cinnamon powder (optional)
  • Liquid candy (for the mold)

Preparation Mode: Homemade Pudding

Step 1: Prepare the base mix

  1. In a large pot, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  2. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix the egg yolks with the sugar and cornstarch until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  3. Once the milk is hot, remove it from the heat and add the mixture of yolks, sugar and cornstarch. Stir well to integrate all the ingredients.
  4. Place the pot back on the heat and cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon to prevent lumps from forming. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens and has the desired consistency.
  5. Remove the mixture from the heat and add the vanilla essence to taste, mixing well.
