Homemade Oven Baked Donuts (Chocolate Frosted)

Call them Oven baked donuts or cake donuts it doesn’t matter. What really matters is that they are super fluffy, chocolaty and delicious!

Chocolate Frosted Homemade Oven Baked Donuts

 

Ingredients

2 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup water

2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
½ cup greek yoghurt
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup sprinkles (optional)

Chocolate Frosting
½ cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoon milk
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 tablespoon sprinkles

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180C / 350F. Grease donut pan well with butter (the batter should be making 12 donuts).
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder and sugar until combine.
Then, in a small bowl beat the eggs and vanilla extract.

Add the eggs mixture, greek yoghurt and melted butter to the flour mixture, mix well (the butter will be too thick).
Add water to the batter then add the sprinkles, mix (don’t over stir).
