Greek Spanakopita is what Greece tastes like, EXTREMELY delicious!

Preparation:

1. First prepare the egg wash mixture. Mix egg, milk, oil, water and salt in a bowl and then set aside.
2. Now in another clean bowl, mix together the feta cheese and then the cooked spinach, then it’s time to assemble the pastry!

3. Now place a sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and then brush the phyllo dough sheets with a little egg yolk. After that, repeat the process twice until you have a total of 3 layers.

4. Then pour the feta and spinach over the filo dough and roll it from one end to the other to create a long strip.

5. Next, cut the puff pastry into triangles with a large knife and then place it on a baking tray.
6. Brush each triangle with egg yolk, sprinkle with poppy seeds and bake at 180° C (356 °F) for 15 minutes. Bon appetit!
