French strawberry cake is a super easy, oh so cake made with fresh strawberries and sour cream, and it is soft, fluffy and mixed in just one bowl.
Ingredients
½ cup butter , softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup sour cream
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cups fresh strawberries , sliced
2 tablespoon powdered sugar , optional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180C / 350F and line a 20 cm springform pan with baking paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together butter and sugar for about 2-3 minutes, until fluffy.

Whisk in the eggs (one at a time), sour cream and vanilla extract.

Now, stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour,1 ½ teaspoon baking powder,¼ teaspoon salt
Fold in the sliced strawberries.
2 cups fresh strawberries
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for about 40-45 minutes.
