Discover the Apple, Vanilla Pudding and Whipped Cream Cake Recipe

Method of preparation:

In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar until smooth.
Fold the beaten egg whites into the yolk mixture using a spatula.
Add the flour mixed with the cornstarch and homogenize.
Finally, add the melted butter and mix well.

Baking the Top :
Line or grease a 22×22 cm baking tray with baking paper.
Pour the batter into the pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
Preparing the Apple Filling :
Squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
Peel the apples, remove the core and cut them into small cubes.
In a pan, put the apples, lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of sugar.
Cook until the apples release their juice and the sugar dissolves.
Add the cinnamon, cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to soften the apples.
Mix 50 ml of apple juice with the starch.
Pour the remaining 50 ml of apple juice into the pan, add the juice mixed with starch and cook until the mixture thickens.
Assembling the Cake :
Spread the apples evenly on the baking sheet.
Mix the vanilla pudding powder with a little milk.
Put the rest of the milk in a saucepan, add the sugar and the pudding mix, then cook until you have a thick cream.
Pour the hot pudding over the apples and spread evenly.
Cover the pudding with cling film to prevent a skin from forming and chill for 2 hours.
Preparation of the whipped cream :
Grate the white chocolate.
Beat the whipping cream with the vanilla sugar and whipping agent until stiff.
Remove the foil from the pudding, spread the whipped cream on top and create a pattern with a fork.
Sprinkle the grated white chocolate on top.
