Delicious chocolate cherry cake recipe

Ingredients:

200 g margarine, soft or butter
175g sugar
1 point vanilla sugar
1 pinch(s) of salt
4 egg(s)

125 g flour (wheat flour)
1 teaspoon Baking powder
100 g chocolate (chocolate flakes)
100 g almond(s), ground
1 glass of sour cherries (drained weight 370 g)
2 tbsp sugar (grained sugar)

Preparation:

For the batter, stir the margarine or butter until smooth using a hand mixer fitted with a whisk at the highest setting. Gradually stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar and salt, stirring until a thick mixture is formed. Gradually stir in eggs. (each egg about ½ minute)

Mix the flour with the baking powder, sift and stir in portions at a medium level. Briefly stir in the chocolate and almonds. Pour the dough into a springform pan (diameter 26 cm, greased bottom) and smooth it out.
For the topping, drain the sour cherries well in a sieve and spread them over the dough (leave about 1 cm free on the edge). Place the pan on the rack in the oven.
