then add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Mix well until free of lumps, about 30 seconds.
Stir in boiling water, mix well. The dough is thin.
Pour batter into cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire racks and allow to cool completely before brushing.
Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
Melt butter, then stir in cocoa powder. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk until a spreadable consistency is reached (add a little more milk if necessary). Stir in vanilla.
