CAPRI CAKE: SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO TRY

Ingredients

For the biscuit:

– 9 egg whites
– 15 tablespoons of sugar
– 12 tablespoons of ground walnuts (or hazelnuts)
– 1 tablespoon of flour
– 1/2 bag of baking powder

For the red cream:

– 45 dag of frozen strawberries
– 30 dag of sugar
– 1 dl of water
– 2 strawberry-flavored pudding powders
– 1 gelatin
– 15 tablespoons of water

For the yellow cream:

– 9 egg yolks
– 15 dag of sugar
– 1 bag of vanilla sugar
– 3 tablespoons of thickener
– 3 tablespoons of smooth flour
– 1/2 l of milk
– 20 dag of margarine

For the chocolate topping:

– 10 dag of cooking chocolate
– 5 dag of margarine + 6 tablespoons of oil

Preparation:

For the biscuit, mix the egg whites until they are firm. Then add the sugar and gradually mix in the flour, baking powder and walnuts with a food processor.

Pour into a large oven tray on baking paper and bake at 180ºC for 25 minutes. Crack the baked biscuit, remove the baking paper and cut it in half. Cool down.

For the red cream, boil water and sugar, add strawberries and let it boil until the strawberries melt completely. Spread them with a food processor so that they are not too big. Mix the pudding powder and gelatin with 15 tablespoons of water (it will be quite sticky and thick) and add to the boiling strawberry mixture. Cook until it thickens.
