Berlin air cake

Ingredients for the cake base:

150 g flour
100 g sugar
1 pack baking powder
5 egg yolks
100 g butter
1 pack vanilla sugar
150 g almond flakes

Ingredients for the meringue:

150 g sugar
5 egg whites
Ingredients for the filling:
250 g strawberries
500 ml cream
2 packs Cream stiffener
2 packs of vanilla sugar

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (fan oven 160 degrees). Mix the flour with the baking powder and sift. Separate eggs. Beat butter,
100 g sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolks until fluffy. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Spread the dough onto two springform pan bases (ø 26 cm) lined with baking paper.
