CABBAGE with onions tastes better than meat!

Ingredients :

For the dough:
1 1/4 cups wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
3-4 tablespoons ice water

For the filling:
1 medium head cabbage, thinly sliced
​​2 onions, thinly sliced
​​2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated cheese (e.g. Cheddar or Gruyère), optional
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk or cream

Directions :

1. Prepare the dough:
In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt.
Add the cold butter pieces to the flour and work into the flour with a pastry mixer or your fingers until it forms coarse crumbs.

Slowly add the ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing with a fork until the dough just comes together. Be careful not to overwork the dough.
Form the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and let it rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
