Zabaglione cake: the recipe for the delicious and creamy cold dessert

The Zabaione cake is a spectacular and delicious cold dessert, prepared with a base of chocolate biscuits and a delicate and aromatic cream with zabaione, Marsala and whipped cream. A creamy and irresistible dessert, ideal for a special occasion, a birthday or an important dinner, which can be prepared in advance and then kept in the fridge.
Its preparation is simple and within everyone’s reach. With a few small precautions, you can create an elegant and refined cake worthy of a true pastry chef. Simply mix the chocolate biscuits with the melted butter, pour the mixture into a 20-22 cm diameter mold, level it and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
At this point you can devote yourself to the filling: you have to process the egg yolks with the sugar in a bain-marie, add the Marsala, the gelatin soaked in water and well squeezed and finally the whipped cream and mix gently, stirring with movements from bottom to top until you get a creamy, smooth and lump-free consistency.
